The girls are way behind in the recording of their new album because they've tripped over a massive writer's block. If they could just relax and take a break they might get their mojo back. Unfortunately Kaz their demanding manager has locked them in the studio and won't let them out until they've found the perfect song! In a moment of frustrated despair Ami and Yumi kick a dusty amplifier revealing a genie! In order to find their musical inspiration Ami and Yumi will have to journey through history using special guitars they'll acquire to battle period perils and gather musical notes at each stop. Only after collecting all the energy will the girls ahve the entire perfect rock tune.
